4 ноября в день памяти Казанской иконы Пресвятой Богородицы Престольный праздник отмечают в селе Маруха.
По окончании Божественной литургии благочинный Южного Карачаево-Черкесского округа протоиерей Евгений Субтельный передал, собравшимся на праздник, благословение и поздравления Преосвященнейшего Феофилакта епископа Пятигорского и Черкесского.
Храм в Марухе очень маленький, построен на русском кладбище и только могильные надписи напоминают, сколько православных некогда проживало в этом селе. Обращаясь к собравшимся на богослужение, благочинный сказал, что строители храма, наверное, не предполагали, что когда-нибудь в этом храме будет столько молящихся, что они не поместятся не только в притворе, но и на пороге. В Престольный день в храм приезжают помолиться паломники из станиц: Зеленчукской, Кардоникской, Исправной; городов Черкесска и Карачаевска, поселка Орджоникидзевского.
После Крестного хода обед, а после обеда — прогулки по горам, катание на «Барсике», что особенно нравится приехавшим на праздник детям, везде слышен смех и радостные возгласы.
